Florida’s all-star second baseman and All Year Cooling sponsor Dan Uggla became the first second baseman in history to hit 30 or more home runs in four consecutive seasons last night on a two-run home run in the eighth. The home run gave Uggla 92 RBIs on the season, which ties his career high.
Uggla is putting in a career year with many projecting him to set career highs in home runs and RBIs, as well as batting average and on-base percentage. He currently sits with a .281 batting average with a career high of .282 and an on-base percentage of .363 with a career high of .360. Regardless of whether he sets career highs or not, there’s no arguing that Uggla is and will continue to be one of the game’s premier second basemen.
All Year Cooling is proud to be associated with an all-star, history-making ballplayer like Uggla in such a historic season. We wish Uggla many more seasons like the one he’s having and are confident that he’ll continue to prove one of the game’s best second basemen.
