All Year Cooling is on board with the worldwide movement to ‘go green’. We try our best to recycle as much as we can, from the cardboard box an air conditioner is shipped in to the old unit we’re replacing.
We even have a Green Efforts Team in place responsible for stripping apart old units and separating the metals for recycling. The refrigerant from the old unit is extracted so that it can be properly recycled as well. Our team does its best to recycle as much material from the old air conditioners as possible to reduce our impact on the environment.
Environmental responsibility is all of our responsibility. From recycling your used papers, plastics and other household materials to switching to CFL light bulbs to turning your air conditioner to 78 degrees and higher when you’re away, you too can join the worldwide green movement.
The federal government has even gotten on board and now offers tax credits to those who purchase and install an energy efficient air conditioner. The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 includes tax credits of up to $1,500 for homeowners who purchase an air conditioner that meets certain energy efficiency requirements.
An air conditioning expert at All Year Cooling will offer further information about the tax credit and will help you choose an air conditioner that is right for you. Hurry, though. Eligibility for the tax credit ends on December 31, 2010!
