4 Coolest Hidden Restaurants In Miramar

Posted on Family and Home, The Cooler Blog September 3, 2014

We continue our South Florida “Coolest Places” blog post series with the city on the edge Broward County, Miramar. As you know, we service air conditioners in all cities in South Florida from as far north as Vero Beach to as far south as Key West. We’ve explored our community for the last 41 years, so we think we’re kind of experts by now. That being said, we always miss some places in our posts so feel free to comment at the bottom with your favorite places.

Without further adieu, our favorite food places in Miramar (that just so happen to be relatively hidden)…

Miramar Sushi & Thai

Miramar is known as the city of “Beauty & Progress”, but we have another nickname for it…Sushi City. There are a lot of Japanese restaurants for the size of the city. Sushi & Thai is one of our favorites, especially for lunch. It’s a great value for a good amount of quality food. While our installers normally opt for the sushi, they make a really authentic pad thai as well.

El Fogon

When you’re in the mood for lomo saltado or ceviche, El Fogon is the spot. They serve an excellent Peruvian fare. We usually go with their deliciously juicy rotisserie chicken.

Vegetarian Delight

For the vegetarians or people trying to eat a little healthier, we recommend this hole-in-the-wall vegetarian/ Jamaican restaurant Vegetarian Delight. This place serves up Rastafarian ital food, absolutely no meat. It’s so good, you might consider going vegetarian after.

Osaka Sushi

We couldn’t call Miramar the Sushi City and not include our other favorite sushi spot Osaka. This is a fairly new kid on the block in the city, but it tastes like it’s been an establishment forever. They make an incredible Dragon Roll. Now it’s your turn. What Miramar spots did we miss?
