5 Cool Things to Do in Deerfield Beach

Deerfield Beach is widely known for its beautiful beach and beach town feel, but there are a lot of gems in this city you may not know about. Whether you’re into water sports or great food, here are a few of our favorite spots to visit with your family:
Hands down, one of the best places to go in Deerfield is the International Fishing Pier. If you’re not into fishing, it is still a great place to take a stroll with your family and take in the amazing ocean view around you. You will likely spot surfers riding a wave or someone reeling in a great catch!
Oceans 234 is a great seafood restaurant to dine at day or night and it’s located right on the edge of the beach. Not only can you sit outside with the ocean as your view, but the food is delicious too! Whether you are looking to dine with friends and family or looking to host an event, Oceans 234 is a great spot!
Two Georges has great food but our favorite thing about this restaurant is its location. Two Georges is located right on the intracoastal and can be accessed by boat or car. If you opt to sitting outside (we recommend it!) you will be sitting alongside boats and yachts of all sizes. It’s hard to beat dining alongside the ocean but the marina definitely gives the ocean some competition!
Kilwins is located right down the road from the beach and it’s a great place to stop in for a treat after relaxing in the sun. As soon as you enter Kilwins, you are greeted with a delicious aroma of chocolate and sweets which make it nearly impossible to walk out without purchasing a treat. If you’re a fan of fudge, toffee, and brittles, you won’t be disappointed!
Ski Rixen is a cable park for skiing, wakeboarding, kneeboarding and other water sports. It is the longest standing cable way in America and is a great place to visit if you want to experience a water sport in a safe environment. Ski Rixen offers lessons in a class or private environment in order to meet your needs.
